Halloween might be considered the national gay holiday, but you should treat your bottom to a fancy dinner tonight because October 30 is Power Bottom Appreciation Day.

According to the all-knowing Wikipedia which is always right about absolutely everything, Power Bottom Appreciation Day first originated in the 1980s by “snickering gay men at cocaine-fueled Pampered Chef parties.”

The men would allegedly gather to write down the names of all the gentlemen whose company they had enjoyed over the past year and light a candle in honor of each one.

Rosebuds have come to represent Power Bottom Appreciation Day.
